Allan Price (Bud)

Allan has been an actor for over 50 years, with performances in theatres across Canada as well as credits on film and television. His professional career began in 1967 while still a student at University of Toronto. He played “Zig” in “The Magic Planet”, earning $5 per show. What followed were roles on “The Hart and Lorne Terrific Hour” (with Lorne Michaels) and Ivan Rietman’s cult classic “Cannibal Girls”. 

Since then, he’s performed in numerous productions at The Leah Posluns Theatre, including Guys and Dolls, Funny Girl, Gypsy, Mame, The Odd Couple, and Fiddler On The Roof. Other Toronto performances include Jewtopia, Old Jews Telling Jokes Cabaret, The Secret of Gabi’s Dresser, Prelude To A Kiss, Broadway Bound, Death of a SalesmanThe Value of Names and Hogtown. In addition, Allan has crisscrossed the province performing in regional theatres and appeared in Films and TV series including Murdoch Mysteries, Suits, The Boys, Wild Card, Ginny And Georgia andEverything’s Going To Be Great. As incredible as it sounds, he still has time to teach. Allan is delighted to be part of this talented group in this exciting new play.
